Image license & usage terms
Every photograph on Taper Trends — in the gallery and inside our guides — was produced for this site. You're welcome to look, save one for your barber, and link to us. Everything else needs a word first.
Who owns these images
Our haircut photographs are digitally generated reference images, created and published by Taper Trends. They are not stock photographs, they are not scraped from other sites, and they do not depict identifiable real people. Each one is made to illustrate a specific cut, hair type, and viewing angle for the guide it belongs to.
Taper Trends is the publisher and rights holder for the image files, the captions, and the alt text that go with them. Copyright notice: © Taper Trends.
Free to view and reference. Licensed on request for anything commercial.
Nothing here is a licence to the haircuts themselves — a style can't be owned. The terms below cover our image files only.

- All rights reserved. Personal reference and credited editorial use are permitted without asking.

- Commercial use
- By written permission only — email us and tell us where it will run.
What you may do
- Saving an image to show your barber, or sharing it in a private message.
- Linking to a gallery or article page from a blog, forum, or social post.
- Embedding a single image in an editorial article that credits Taper Trends and links back to the page it came from.
What needs a licence
- Republishing a set of images, or reproducing a gallery in whole or in part.
- Any commercial use — ads, price lists, salon menus, printed material, merchandise, or apps.
- Re-hosting the files elsewhere, or hotlinking them from another site.
- Using the images as training data for machine-learning models.
- Editing an image and presenting the result as your own work.
Ask for a licence
Email hello@tapertrends.com with the URL of the image, where you want to use it, and for how long. Most editorial and educational requests are approved the same week, usually free of charge with a credit and a link.
If you believe an image on this site infringes your rights, write to the same address with the page URL and details of the claim and we'll review it promptly.
